Pirro and Canepa in Superbike. Roccoli and Stirpe in Supersport. These are just some of the protagonists of the Italian Speed Championship, the pinnacle of track motorcycling at the national level, staged from Friday June 17 to Sunday June 19 at the historic Mugello circuit. A weekend that, after the start at Misano in early April and the second round at Vallelunga in May, will see the third round of the season with the usual two races, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, for all categories of the Italian (Sbk, Moto3, 600civ and Ss&SsNg, Ss300 and Premoto3).

Taking a quick look at the values in the field, in Sbk it will be easy to predict a head-to-head between Pirro and Canepa. Similar discourse for Nicola Carraro and Cesare Tiezzi in Moto3, Leonardo Zanni and Giulio Pugliese in Premoto3 and Marco Bussolotti and Kevin Zannoni in 600CIV. In Ss&SsNg and Ss300 they will start with the two championship leaders: Massimo Roccoli and Matteo Vannucci, respectively. Their opponents will have the task of contending for victory on the ups and downs of the Tuscan circuit.

SCHEDULE:

The Italian Speed Championship starts from the afternoon of Thursday, June 16 with scrutineering, Friday free practice and qualifying 1 day for all classes (National Trophy 600, Aprilia RS 660 CUP, Premoto3, Moto3, Superbike, 600CIV - Ss&SsNg and SS300) and Saturday after the morning qualifying at 13:40 will start the Sbk Race 1 that will open the doors to the first day of races of the CIV weekend at Mugello.
