The first edition of the Italian Historic Grand Prix concluded with great success. More than 25,000 spectators packed the paddock and grandstands of the Mugello International Circuit over the course of the weekend.

The event, which featured more than 200 historic cars on track, including over 100 single-seaters, celebrated Scuderia Ferrari’s golden decade with the collaboration of the Corse Clienti department.

In this context, ten drivers who wrote the history of the Prancing Horse in Formula 1 and beyond took center stage in two exhibitions and numerous events with the fans.

René Arnoux climbed into the cockpit of the 1995 412 T2, the last 12-cylinder Ferrari to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship and the first to be driven, albeit during a test, by Michael Schumacher. Irishman Eddie Irvine returned to the wheel of the F399 with which he narrowly missed out on the World Championship title, climbing onto the top step of the podium no fewer than four times, accompanied by Luca Badoer and Andrea Bertolini, official test drivers during the ten years that enriched the achievements of the Maranello manufacturer.

Taking center stage in the exhibition and highly sought after by fans were Gerhard Berger, Nicola Larini, Stephan Johansson, Mika Salo, Giancarlo Fisichella and Antonio Giovinazzi.

A success that once again confirmed the public’s great interest in motorsport and the special bond between Ferrari, its fans and the Mugello Circuit.
