The championships will take place at Mugello Circuit in December 2027 and 2028. It is a dream come true for Paolo Traversi, President of the Virtus VII Miglio cycling club, which will organise the event. All the action will take place in the area surrounding the circuit in Scarperia.

For Florence-born Paolo Traversi, President of the Virtus VII Miglio cycling club, this marks the fulfilment of a long-held dream: bringing the Men’s and Women’s UCI Masters Cyclocross World Championships to Mugello, in the area around the international racing circuit. What makes the achievement even more significant is that the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) has awarded the event to Mugello for two consecutive years.

The Cyclocross World Championships will therefore be held in Mugello on 3–4 December 2027 and 2–3 December 2028. The event will be organised by Virtus VII Miglio, with the support of the Unione Montana dei Comuni del Mugello and in collaboration with Mugello Circuit.
