The wait is over. Following the announcement of the renewal of the agreement with MotoGP to host the Italian Grand Prix through 2031, today we are pleased to officially confirm the date.

Mugello, which last year celebrated 50 years since the first motorcycle Grand Prix held at the circuit, remains one of the cornerstones of the MotoGP calendar and is widely regarded as one of the most iconic and fastest circuits in international motorcycle racing. Its extraordinary appeal was further confirmed in 2026, when the Italian Grand Prix recorded a new attendance record of 178,723 spectators over the race weekend.

Paolo Poli, CEO and Managing Director of Mugello Circuit: “We strongly wanted this date as it is in keeping with tradition. The MotoGP World Championship returns to Mugello Circuit from 28 to 30 May 2026. By choosing these dates, we not only want to ensure continuity for our activities, but also to showcase and enhance the local area. The event will take place during one of the most beautiful times of the year in the Tuscan countryside, with favourable weather conditions as well. Following last year’s success, with 178,000 attendees, our goal is to further improve the experience for everyone at the circuit: riders, teams and spectators.”
