“A recognition of the individuals whose excellence leaves a lasting mark on the city of Florence and its community.”
This is the prestigious motivation behind the award that will see Paolo Poli, CEO and Director of the Mugello Circuit, among the recipients of the Fiorino d’Oro — the highest honour bestowed by the City of Florence — on 24 June at 3pm in the Salone dei Cinquecento at Palazzo Vecchio.

Poli’s career has always been deeply rooted in the local area and closely tied to the Ferrari brand, culminating over the years in the continued success of the Italian MotoGP Grand Prix held at the iconic Tuscan circuit.

Representing the land of Florence on the world stage is a true privilege; this award is not solely for me, but ideally embraces the entire Mugello Circuit team — for their quality, talent, and passion shown in every single event throughout the year,” commented Poli.
These achievements have been made possible thanks to the fundamental and unwavering support of Ferrari Automobili, which has always believed in this venue and in its bond with the city of Florence.”

The Mayor of Florence, Sara Funaro, highlighted the significance of the award:

The Fiorini celebrate values such as dedication to work, creativity, and perseverance,” she explained.
It is a great satisfaction to honour entrepreneurs like Paolo Poli, who has made the circuit a driving force for development throughout the region.”
